Happy Sunday to Me

I woke up congested with puffy eyes and a headache. I crawled out of bed and started my morning routine. I made it to the kitchen and flipped on the light which made me squint my eyes. I considered crawling back in to bed. I grabbed a diet dew instead and headed for the recliner. I sat, wrapped in my favorite old raggedy quilt, staring at the blank wall in front of me. (I am NOT a morning person. Are you getting that?) Flip on the tv...deer hunters on ch. 7 (too bloody for this time of day), Bob the Builder on PBS (I'll get enough of that when Trey gets up in about 30 min.), last channel, 10, infomercial...how a special melon keeps Cindy Crawford looking young (sure, I'll watch that). Turns out that looking at supermodels this early in the morning is depressing. OK, need to check my blog, see if I have any comments....fumble with blackberry for a minute. Hmmm, connection is slow. I
may fall asleep before this thing loads my page. (consider going back to bed again...mt. dew not working). Oh, here we go, there's my blog. (guess I stay up after all)
What's this?!?!?! 18 followers!!!!!!!! That's one more than I had yesterday. How exciting! My eyes seem more awake, my nose not so stuffy, headache still there but feeling better! Up!!! Out of the recliner!!! Its time to start the day. Happy Sunday everybody!
