It was almost a year ago that Rex and I decided to add some goats to our farmyard friends. We started by going to Dinky's Auction Barn and buying 2 baby goats, Willie White and Betty Brown. But it turned out that Betty was really Billy! That wasn't a very good way to start growing our goat herd. So a few weeks later we went to a local farmer and bought Betty Black (she was really a betty this time), Gertrude, Woolly, Inky and a bottle fed runt we named Cindy Lu. Trey loved Cindy Lu instantly. He spent most of last summer feeding her bottles daily. Today, she had her own babies, two little nannies, Cindy and LuLu.
Thank goodness my babies don't grow as fast as goat babies!
