Here is my adorable daughter who is 7 months old today. When she was born I came to the hospital with a pacifier. As soon as she proved to me she could nurse, I was giving it to her. I hadn't been sure if I should give it to Trey but it turned out to be my saving grace as he grew up. Kayelynn (being her own person, totally different than Trey) wanted nothing to do with the binky. She would gag on it and make terrible faces. But I wanted her to take it. I wanted the pacifier to make life easier. But she thought it was a medieval torture device so after a few months I gave up.
Today, Trey found this binky somewhere and gave it to Kayelynn. She loves it! She smiles when she sees it! Its like a new toy. I think she's teething and she seems to chew on it more than suck on it. So now what? Do I keep it around or throw it away. I can't decide.......
The Thing I Have Been Wondering

It has been a rough year. That is no lie. We have had one challenge after
another, and if this were a dark comedy one would recognize that it has
been fun...

Haha great pic! Doesn't seem like letting her keep it would do any harm - but it's up to you!

Look at that face, Mommy...how can you take it away now?? That's a tough one though...good luck :o)
Let her teethe on it. If she isn't constatnly sucking on it and using it for the real purpose it was made for then let her chew away. work got busy last night. talk to ya later.
I WOULD KEEP IT. IT'S NOT LIKE SHE'S EVEN SUCKING ON IT. SHE'S USING IT TO TEETH. I WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED THE FIRST 4 MONTHS WITHOUT A PACI FOR THE BOYS. NOW THAT THEY ARE 6 MONTHS OLD, THEY ARE CHEWING ON IT TO TEETHE TOO. SO ITS A WIN-WIN IN MY BOOK. THEY AREN'T AS ADDICTED TO IT AT BEDTIME EITHER. AS FAR AS TAKING IT AWAY. I FIGURE WHEN THE TIME COMES, WELL I'LL DEAL WITH IT THEN. BUT, I MUST SAY, YOU ARE A HECK OF A WOMAN FOR MAKING IT THROUGH 7 MONTHS WITHOUT A PACI.
